Win a Floatworks flotation pod experience worth £50

Flotation Pod experience

I don’t know about you but my plan for 2019 is to build rest and relaxation into my routine.

And by that, I mean schedule it into my diary.

It sounds extreme but I had this moment of clarity after my first ever flotation pod experience.

I rarely give myself permission to do absolutely nothing but that all changed on a recent visit to Floatworks in Vauxhall where I discovered the simple joy of lying in an enclosed pool of very salty water for an hour.

I never believed it would help melt away my worries or that I’d emerge feeling fantastically relaxed and recharged but it happened. And then some – if I could bottle the sense of peace that washed over me, I would!  (Read more about my experience – and the health benefits linked to floating – here)

So, I’m over the moon that Floatworks has teamed up with Relax Ya Self To Health to offer one lucky reader the chance to win an hour-long float worth £50.

Flotation Tank Pod, Floatworks

Never tried out floatation sessions, although I’ve read about the longer term benefits. Would love to try.

I’ve heard so many good things about these experiences, my colleague who was sceptical at first got gifted it and he said it was amazing and the most relaxing thing he has ever done. I am focusing more and more on self care to improve my stress (and therefore health) and I would be so intrigued to try this!

I would give this to my wife. She’s the kind of person who is always on the go and finds it difficult to relax both physically and mentally. She’s tried all kinds of things: meditation, yoga, pilates without success. Who knows, maybe this would work!

Balancing being a mother of 2 boys who are always full of energy and a full time job it is hard to find time ‘for me’. Daily life is stressful enough & I’m always open to anything that will help me relax and floatworks sounds like the perfect remedy.

It’s something I’ve never done, so it would be quite an experience but it would be great to feel nice and relaxed as other methods I’ve tried just don’t work.

I’ve been to Floatworks before when it was in London Bridge! It’s amazing that in the space of 1 hour, you can absolutely switch off and come out a totally different person! Would love to go back again especially as we’re having a trying time looking after elderly parents. I need to activate my float button!
